The link below is to the Gov.uk webpage detailing the support packages being made available to businesses affected by COVID-19.
It appears that a lot of the finer details will not be released until later this week, or early next week.
What we do know is businesses that qualify for Small Business rates relief (SBRR) will automatically be contacted by the local authority and will receive a flat rate of £10,000. You should be contacted by your local authority in due course, it’s not something you need to apply for. Funding is expected to be made available to local authorities in early April.
For businesses that are in the retail, hoppitality or leisure industry and have a rateable value over £15,000 but under £51,000, these businesses will qualify for a cash grant of £25,000. Enquiries on eligibility will need to be directed at your local authority.
